Tasklite Spotlite #5: Messaging, Enhanced Notes & Our 1st Android App

Our goal at Tasklite is to enable you to achieve bigger and better things by removing barriers to communication and collaboration, one by one.

With that in mind, since the official launch of Tasklite last month, we’ve been busy adding some pretty substantial features, including integrated messaging and fully formatted notes. We also released our first Android app!

Coming soon, we will be launching integrated login with Google and Facebook and even tighter integration with other tools you use daily. Stay tuned.

Thanks for your support and please spread the word!

Integrated Messaging

We removed a significant barrier to collaboration with the introduction of integrated messaging in Tasklite.

Now instead of chatting in Google Chat or Facebook, you can chat within Tasklite and have your full history of messages stored within the application. Soon, you’ll be able to search messages and even tag them to specific projects!

What You See Is What You Get

What is that sound? It’s another barrier to communication being broken!

No more miscommunication or long-winded explanations. Simply highlight, colorize, table-ify and bold your notes to make your points clearly and effectively. (Fully formatted comments coming soon.)

Android Anyone?

Watch out! Another barrier is falling!

Tasklite is now available in Google Play (formerly Android Market) as a limited release preview. For now, there is only a limited feature set (viewing and closing out current tasks, project lists and task lists) but more will be coming soon. Please download Tasklite, rate it (5 stars would be cool) and let us know what you would like to see. (Special thanks to NYC design firm Langton Cherubino Group for the awesome banner!)

Note to fanboys & girls: Look for the iPhone app in the fall!

Referral Karma

Help your friends and colleagues break down their own barriers to communication! Invite them to try Tasklite. The only way everyone can experience how easy it is to get projects done on time, never lose track of project files and have all their team on the same page is if YOU invite them to join Tasklite. When you use the Invite a Friend link from within Tasklite, your referral code will be tacked on to the email and both you and your friend will get a referral credit* of one month free access each!  (*when your friend converts to a paid account)

That’s all for this time. Keep breaking down your own personal barriers and doing amazing things. We’ll keep making it easier for you.
